Anna Wandtke-Wypych - Music Career Workshop

Anna Wandtke-Wypych – violinist, soloist, chamber musician. In 2018, she obtained the title of doctor habilitated at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where she runs her violin class as an assistant professor. She is a graduate of the Academy of Music. S. Moniuszko in Gdańsk (prof. Krystyna Jurecka's class) and the Hochschule Fur Musik in Mannheim (prof. Waleri Gradów's class).

As a soloist, she performed with many orchestras in Poland and abroad (Sinfonia Varsovia, Elbląg Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonia Iuventus, Polish Chamber Orchestra, Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk, Podkarpacka Philharmonic in Rzeszów, Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic in Olsztyn, Gorzów Philharmonic, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Kalisz Philharmonic e.t.c). He gives concerts playing recitals all over the world.

As a chamber musician, she collaborated with the SWR Rundfunkorchester Kaiserslautern, where she recorded for the German radio station SWR 2. She was a member of the International UBS Verbier Festival Orchestra, conducted by James Levine, where she collaborated with such artists as: James Levine, Kurt Masur, Paavo Jarvi, Chick Corea, Gidon Kremer, Vadim Repin, Mscislav Rostropowicz, Evgeny Kissin, Maxim Vengerov, Nigel Kennedy and others who are associated with the record label "Deutsche Gramophon", whose boss - Martin Engstroem is the general director of the Verbier Festival.

She was also a member of Maxim Vengerov's international chamber orchestra. This band collaborated with the EMI label. The result of this cooperation is a CD with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's violin concertos. Anna Wandtke is a member of Tytus Wojnowicz's Ensemble de Narol. She is a co-founder and a member of The New Art Ensemble, which has become known to the audience of most philharmonics in Poland over several years of activity and receives the greatest recognition at music festivals in the country and abroad.

Anna Wandtke is a violinist with an extremely expressive musical personality. Her playing is characterized by great musical sensitivity and deep expressiveness. Thanks to the unique approach to the sound of the instrument and the brilliant, virtuoso technique, the artist implements musical ideas with impressive freedom, leading the listener through a smooth musical narrative into the world of unique sounds from the circle of not only classical music, but also often fusion with jazz, flamenco, and world music.

She is a laureate of numerous violin and chamber competitions in Poland and abroad. She was a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk. She has been nominated for the Red Rose Awards several times. Laureate of the Young Artists Award in Gdańsk, Scholarship holder of "DAAD" in Germany.

In 2016, the artist released her debut album "VIOLIN SOUL" (DUX), featuring Roby Lakatos himself - an outstanding violin virtuoso. There were also performances by members of The New Art Ensemble (Grzegorz Lalek, Agata Słowikowska, Igor Kabalewski, Tomasz Błaszczak, Sebastian Wypych), Mirosław Feldgebel and Agnieszka Panasiuk. The album won the hearts of critics and a wide audience in Poland and abroad. In 2018, Anna Wandtke released another album "WANDTKE PLAYS POLISH" (REQUIEM RECORDS), on which, together with the outstanding double bass player - Sebastian Wypych and excellent pianists: Mirosław Feldgeble and Paweł Sommer, she performs works by: K. Szymanowski, K. Penderecki, G. Bacewicz , W. Lutosławski T. Paciorkiewicz.

The year 2020 brought the release of the next album "Avarp - Prologue", where Anna Wandtke, together with Agnieszka Panasiuk and Paweł Panasiuk, performs chamber music by Icelandic composers.

The artist is a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and provides numerous consultations with students from all over Poland and beyond its borders. Its pupils and students win numerous awards at leading national and international competitions.

In 2021, Anna Wandtke received the Coachwise Essentials ICF ACC coach certificate. She pursues her passion for mentoring and motivating coaching during numerous mental workshops for artists, at art universities, music schools and with individual clients.

 

Anna Wandtke's pedagogical activity is based not only on individual lessons - student / teacher, but also on interdisciplinary education. The artist invites students of her class to cyclical classes "Time for Art - Time For Ar", during which, within a given epoch, students together with Anna Wandtke listen to music, watch and comment on the art of painting, architecture, read, analyze literature and talk about compositional style . The undoubted value of these meetings is the creative inspiration and motivation of students, positively influencing their holistic, multi-layered perception of music, style and era. In addition, as part of "Time For Art", conducted by Anna Wandtke, her students participate in individual and group lectures and practical exercises on professional development, fighting stage fright, planning an artistic path, setting a professional goal and building an artist's brand. Anna Wandtke herself claims that students are her driving force and she draws inspiration for creative ideas for musical education from them.

The violinist also works as a teacher during workshops and music courses in Poland and abroad.

Anna Wandtke is invited to be a member of the juries of violin, chamber and even violin making competitions.

As a musician, he is very active in cultural activities, taking part in numerous artistic projects in Poland and abroad. The artist is the founder and president of the Humana Ars Musica Association. He is the artistic director of the Innovative Music Workshops "Art&Business Concept", which, as one workshop on the Polish market, combines a course of playing instruments, concerts, lectures with an intensive course in planning your artistic path, fighting stage fright, entrepreneurship in culture.
